Aeos places the scrolls of time in an enchanted box before she and Chronoa release their true forms and begin to fight each other. Chronoa tries to talk Aeos out of her plan by arguing that while the growing number of timelines is a problem, many of these timelines are worthy of existence due to their potential. Aeos refuses to change his mind, declaring that there must be only one timeline, and overpowers Chrono. Goku arrives with the Time Fairy he obtained from Bardock and also asks Aeos not to erase the defeated timelines. When Aeos refuses and attacks him, he reconnects with Ultra Instinct and begins to fight her. Goku and Aeos are shown to be fairly evenly matched; Aeos surrounds Goku with energy blasts to prevent him from dodging and fires a powerful beam at him, but he dodges with Instant Transfer and lands a direct hit on her with the Kamehameha. Shocked that Goku was able to break through her defenses, Aeos decides that he must be taken out and begins powering up. Meanwhile, Mechikabur's spirit is revealed to be still alive among the remnants of the Space Tree. He declares revenge, but is suddenly ambushed and impaled by Demigra, who begins to absorb Mechikabur's dark factor for himself.
