In The Crack of Time, a youthful-looking Fu explains to a group of Saiyans consisting of Goku, Vegeta, Xeno Goku, and Xeno Vegeta that he has merged with the Dogidogi and thus now has a black wing attached to his back. He further explains that after Demigrou was trapped in the Time Labyrinth, he summoned Dogidogi to escape and subsequently fused with him to unlock his full power.
He then attacks just as a raging Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker Broly appears and targets Goku. Broly sends energy at him, but thanks to the timely arrival of Hearts and Cumber, the blast is deflected. At Hearts' behest, Cumber charges into battle with Broly, who demonstrates his power by kicking Cumber into the Space Tree. A heart that feels pumped transforms into its evolved state and engages in battle.
Shora Fu attacks the Saiyans once more before creating a blade made of energy and launching a powerful attack. When the smoke clears, Gogeta and Xeno Gogeta are revealed to have transformed into Super Saiyan God SS Evolved and Super Full Power Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker before charging at Fu. The two fusions fire a barrage of energy blasts at the chaotic scientist, but Fu powers on, sprouting a second wing and boasting that his strength exceeds that of the gods. Fu incapacitates the two with a flash of darkness and then throws Vegeta into a dark vortex to prevent further fusions, but the Gokus receive an unexpected boost in the form of Chrono.
Chronoa heals both of their injuries and asks them to reach their limits. He then performs a technique that allows the two Saiyans to fuse their ki together, saying that there is no other way to fight Fu the way he is now.
